Do I/Does my child need to have any prior boating experience to join the Learn to Sail Program?
No experience is required for our Beginner level and Pollywog Learn to Sail courses!

Does our family need to be members of the Venice Yacht Club to sign up for classes or programs at the VYBA?
No, the VYBA is its own entity. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the Venice Community we are available to anyone that wishes to take our Programs!

Is there financial help available?
The VYBA is extremely pleased to say that many community organizations help support us in providing scholarship funds for young sailors in need! Our Scholarship Application is available under our Programs tab.

How can my child/our family stay involved through the year?
Between our School Year Programs,  Summer Learn to Sail classes, the VYBA is open all year long! Find a Program that best fits you and your family by checking them out under the Programs tab or by contacting our Executive Director!
