Intro to Sailing Tuesdays - March 2021

AFTER SCHOOL INTRO TO SAILING!

Ages 6 - 10 yrs 

Try out sailing and learn the basics before you decide on summer sailing or hone your skills more for our Adventure Sail program!

Four sessions starting March 2nd, Tuesdays, 3:30pm to 6:30pm (no session on Tuesday March 16th during spring break)

No experience required! Learn about our sailboats, how to rig them, important knots, sailing terms,  wind and weather, how to steer, and finally sail in our Opti Prams!

Cost: $200/sailor

Sailors MUST be able to swim 50 yards.  A swim test will be giving the first day.  

Sailors need to arrive each day prepared to sail! We require each sailor to bring:

·       Refillable Water Bottle

·       Snack (No refrigeration is available on site)

·       U.S. Coast Guard Approved Type III Life Jacket (Personal Flotation Device) with whistle attached

·       Closed-Toe Shoes to be worn at all times!! (No Crocs or Flip-Flops allowed on land or on water)

·       Sunscreen
