BEGINNER-FRIENDLY BOATS

MUST HAVE TAKEN BEGINNER LEVEL CLASS OR HAVE PRIOR SAILING KNOWLEDGE

Have you watched your youth sailor on the water and thought “I’d like to do that too!”  or maybe sailing has always been on your bucket list?  Whatever the reason, now is your chance to learn to sail!  VYBA is offering Summer Learn To Sail specifically for adults. 

VYBA utilizes the US Sailing Basic learn to sail curriculum, the Learn Sailing Right Intermediate Sailing text book and the "Little Red Book" Small Boat Beginner Sailor certification Log Book. You will receive your booklets before the start of the class. 

 Required:

- Ability to swim 50 yards- there will be a swim test

- Life jacket that fits snuggly

- Closed toed water shoes- no crocks or flip flops

- Attitude for fun and learning on the water!
