Spring Break Adventure Sailing Camp

Whether you know how to sail or not we welcome all skill levels (Ages 6-18) 

March 17th-21st

9am-3pm

Cost: $350/sailor

Our Spring Break Adventure Sailing Camp is a week of fun on the water! Each new sailor will learn the fundamentals of sailing and each seasoned sailor with enhance their sailing knowledge: rigging a boat, basic knots, launching from a dock, sailing the boat on their own through local bays and waterways, exploring various islands and sand bars we sail around and STEM activities in sailing. We utilize the US Sailing REACH Curriculum to enrich our program and incorporate STEAM principles (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics; add in Art and you get STEAM!).  Sailors get to explore all the sailboats, kayaks, and paddleboards we have available at the club in this fun filled week.

Requirements for the class:

• Sailors MUST be able to swim 50 yards.  A swim test will be giving the first day.  
• Experience is not necessary
• Willingness to learn and have fun!

·       Refillable Water Bottle

·       U.S. Coast Guard Approved Type III Life Jacket (Personal Flotation Device) with whistle attached

·       Closed-Toe Shoes to be worn at all times!! (No Crocs or Flip-Flops allowed on land or on water)

·       Sunscreen

• Lunch- We do not have refrigeration available, so all lunches need to be in a lunch box or cooler.
