Adult Twilight Sailing
Wednesday Evenings
There's no better way to spend a Wednesday evening than on the water!
Join us for Adult Twilight Sailing, a relaxed and social sailing experience designed for adults who already know the basics of sailing. Whether you're looking to sharpen your skills, enjoy a sunset sail, or simply unwind after work, Twilight Sailing offers the perfect opportunity to get out on the water with fellow sailing enthusiasts.
Sail one of our Sunfish, Club 420s, RS Toura, or other available training boats, practice your sailing skills, and enjoy an evening of camaraderie on beautiful Roberts Bay. Sail solo, bring a friend, or meet new sailing partners each week. Whether you're casually cruising or enjoying a little friendly competition, every evening promises fun, fresh air, and great company.
Cost
- $50 per sailor
- Bring a friend: $20 (Friend must meet the sailing prerequisite or sail with an experienced participant.)
Schedule
Every Wednesday Evening
September through May
Rigging: 4:30 p.m.
On the Water: 5:00 p.m. until sunset
Schedule will change for daylight saving: 4pm - Sunset
A coach and safety boat will be on the water to provide support and ensure everyone's safety.
Prerequisite
Participants must have successfully completed a VYBA Learn to Sail course or have comparable sailing experience. This program is intended for sailors who are comfortable rigging, launching, and sailing independently.
Required Gear
- U.S. Coast Guard-approved Type III Life Jacket (PFD) with a whistle attached
- Closed-toe shoes (No flip-flops or Crocs)
- Sunscreen
- Water bottle
- Comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather
- Hat and sunglasses (recommended)
