The Venice Yacht Club
Since its founding of the Pram Fleet, in 1952, the forerunner of the Venice Youth Boating Association, the Venice Yacht Club continues to support the VYBA in its mission to serve all youth of greater Venice with the opportunity to learn to sail and learn how to have fun on the water, safely. The Charitable Foundation of the Venice Yacht Club through its semi-annual grants provides assistance to VYBA to provide partial or full scholarships for our sailing students.
Gulf Coast Community Foundation is a generous supporter of VYBA through grants and resources. VYBA could not grow and thrive without the support of this excellent local foundation.
For 40 years, the Community Foundation of Sarasota County has matched donors with causes, creating lasting impact across generations. The foundation has been generous to VYBA.
Venice Women’s Sailing Squadron (known as the Bitter Ends)
The Bitter Ends sail every Wednesday morning from September through May and conduct their own "Learn to Sail" program for women beginners who want to learn sailing. We have happily and successfully partnered with the group since 1976.
Venice Sailing Squadron (VSS)
The VSS is an organization of adult sailors in greater Venice. Their members partner with VYBA to take our young sailors aboard their boats for an annual "Big Boat Day." Youth learn about larger Keel Boats and often participate in schedules races as crew.
Established in 1983, Fox Lea Farm is a privately owned, nationally recognized horse show facility located in Venice, Florida. Fox Lea provides much needed storage facilities for boating equipment and trailers for VYBA.
